Martensitic hardened AISI 440C stainless steel balls provide maximum hardness, toughness and dimensional stability. They are highly resistant to rolling-contact fatigue. 440C stainless steel balls are used in a hardened condition, perform similarly to tool steels, and are ideal for anti-friction bearings (rolling bearings). Balls are provided in the passivated condition.

 

They offer fair corrosion resistance. They resist alcohol, food environments, fresh water, many petroleum products, organic materials and steam.

 

Applications: Precision bearings, anti-friction bearings, special valves, conveyor belts and rollers, locking mechanisms, fasteners, ballpoint pens. They are used in foodstuff, medical instruments, quick couplings, recirculating ball bearings, knotting devices, oil refinery devices.

 

Balls are environmentally friendly non-toxic. Please be rest assured to use!

 

 

Warm Tips:

 

1. Dimension check: These are very precision balls, when you check the dimension, please kindly use micrometer with accuracy at least +/-0.001mm, otherwise the test results are likely to be inaccurate. 

 

2. Package: Balls will be nicely packed into transparent plastic bag, then with bubble envelop or carton for protection outside. ( The jar shown in first picture is to hold balls to take photo only and not for delivery )
